In July 2023, we worked together with the Education Department of Kasese District Local Government. We visited schools for five days to check on how teachers are using what they learned during our holiday training. How to teach reading and writing (literacy) The purpose of the visit was to see if teachers are using the new skills and best practices we shared with them. We were able to visit 15 schools in the district that we have been working with. We are happy to report that most of the schools are showing a lot of interest in making play materials for their learners. We thank the teachers and school leaders for their efforts. Together, we are making learning more fun and effective for children.
