Tangu Utoto Foundation
We are an NGO based in Kasese, Uganda, building the capacity for schools in rural Uganda to provide excellent Early Childhood Development & Education to underprivileged children up to the age of 8, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 4. At TUF, we seek to provide similar learning experiences to children regardless of social class or other affiliation because it has become the norm that quality early childhood education is a reserve for rich families that can afford expensive kindergartens for their children. We started in November 2018 and we’ve grown to reach over 900 children and over 150 teachers in kasese District.
Our vision is to help provide effective quality ECD Education to less privileged children in Uganda.
We want to see every child succeed and not be limited because of their environment or background.
To assist in providing quality Education to Children in less privileged communities of Uganda.
We want to help the children in underprivileged communities to have access to education that will develop them in a holistic manner and push them to reach their fullest potential.
To help create an environment that can allow a child to Dream, Believe and Achieve.
